Responsibilities

• Provide skilled occupational therapy to clients in their homes, including therapeutic interventions and goals, home exercise program, etc.
• Coordinate with other members of the care team to ensure comprehensive and integrated care for clients.
• Educate clients and their families on proper self-care techniques and health maintenance strategies.
• Monitor and document client progress and communicate any changes or concerns to the physician.
• Act as an advocate for clients and ensure their needs are met in a timely and respectful manner.
• Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.

Requirements

• Active COTA license in the state of Nebraska.
• Minimum of 2 years of occupational therapy assistant experience, preferably in home health or a similar setting.
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
