Flex Videographer -SPV - Michigan Ave.

Creates high-quality, professional videos with Salespeople and Stylists for Nordstrom.com. Provides a beneficial online customer experience while connecting customers with Nordstrom’s people, stores, and fashion expertise. This is a flexible, as-needed position; hours and scheduling depend on workload volume.

Responsibilities

• Set up video set daily including camera, audio, lighting, and fixtures following program guidelines for framing
• Ensure proper lighting and focus for videos and b-roll
• Partner with on-set Associate Producer to provide feedback and guidance to talent on content
• Coach talent on set to create engaging and valued content
• Support training or onboarding crew members as needed
• Manage audio and audit content while filming
• Backup all footage after each shift and upload for post-production
• Assist in prep and shipping of product as needed
• Maintain audio and video supplies and equipment; communicate needed repairs or replacements to regional Producer

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree with a focus in Audio and Video Production preferred
• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite, SharePoint, MS Office Suite
• 5 years of Audio and Video Production experience
• 3 years of experience working in the fashion industry
• Ability to lift 60 pounds (video equipment, props)
• Ability to think on your feet and make quick decisions
• Clear and effective verbal communication and strong interpersonal skills

Pay

$28.75 - $46.25 hourly
