Flex Security Officers, Part-Time (Corporate Setting)

About the role

Marksman Security is seeking part-time Flex Security Officers in San Ramon, CA. This role offers flexibility with shifts, requiring weekend and holiday availability.

Responsibilities

• Maintain site access control and visitor logs.
• Monitor entry points, verify credentials, and manage visitor check-ins.
• Maintain a professional presence while enforcing corporate security policies.
• Conduct patrols and safety checks.
• Respond to alarms, emergencies, and incidents.
• Write detailed incident and daily activity reports.
• Support workplace safety initiatives and report potential hazards.
• Follow all company, client, and regulatory guidelines.
• Provide customer service and ensure client satisfaction.
• Serve as a first point of contact for inquiries, directions, and assistance.

Requirements

• At least 18 years of age or older.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid State BSIS California Guard Card.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Familiarity with report writing.
• Computer skills are a must.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Monitoring and surveillance experience.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 25–50 lbs. (varies by site).
• Capable of extended standing, walking, or patrolling.
• Maintain alertness and situational awareness at all times.
• Must be able to multitask and prioritize assigned tasks.
• Comfortable with outdoor environment in diverse weather conditions.
• Security Guard experience preferred, but not required.
• Must successfully pass Pre-Employment background check.
