Flex Security Officer - Unarmed

As a Security Officer Flex Unarmed Patrol Driver in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, education, finance, retail, and more. Schedule

Expect to work 30–40 hours per week with a schedule that varies week to week. Shifts, days, locations, and assignments will change regularly based on manager-assigned shifts and those you pick up through the Earn More, Claim-A-Shift self-scheduling program. You will be assigned to work irregular shifts with little to no advance notice to support client needs.

Pay

$24.30 / Hour

Responsibilities

• Perform security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns or safety hazards.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department in case of fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
• Warn violators of rule infractions, such as loitering, smoking, or carrying forbidden articles.
• Permit authorized persons to enter property and monitor entrances and exits.
• Observe departing personnel to protect against theft of company property and ensure authorized removal of property is conducted within appropriate client requirements.
• Investigate and prepare reports on accidents, incidents, and suspicious activities; maintain written logs as required by the post.
• Aid customers, employees, and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
• Make emergency notifications as necessary pursuant to site Post Orders.

Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Must be available to work varying shifts, including holidays, nights, and weekends.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be available for last-minute shift scheduling.
• Must be able to travel required distances.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

Ability to speak, read, and write in multiple languages (e.g., Spanish, Portuguese, French, Arabic) and prior security, military, or law enforcement experience are attributes that would enhance hiring consideration.
