Flex Security Officer – On-Call

About the role

On‑call Security Officers are contacted for shift coverage when a site has an open post. Officers must be available to respond on short notice and be comfortable working across different client locations. This role is ideal for candidates seeking flexible hours or building toward a full‑time schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide security coverage at assigned client locations on an as‑needed basis.
• Conduct patrols, monitor premises, and maintain a visible security presence.
• Respond to and document incidents, hazards, and policy violations.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and incident documentation.
• Follow site‑specific post orders and company procedures at each location.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Active Illinois PERC Card preferred; ability to obtain before first day of work.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license preferred.
• Clean background check and drug screening required.
• Reliable cell phone and ability to work varied shifts, including weekends and evenings.

Pay

Starting at $18.04 per hour.
