About the role
Responsible for maintaining security at MIT campus locations. Conduct patrols, respond to incidents, and assist in emergency situations.
Responsibilities
- Conduct regular patrols of assigned areas
- Respond to and manage security incidents
- Assist in emergency response procedures
- Interact with visitors and ensure compliance with campus policies
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Pass a background check
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends
Qualifications
- Experience in security or law enforcement preferred
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical fitness and stamina for patrol duties
Skills
- Knowledge of campus safety protocols
- Basic computer literacy
- First aid and CPR certification

Pay
- $20.00 per hour
Schedule
- 1st shift: 3:00 AM - 11:00 AM
- 2nd shift: 11:00 AM - 7:00 PM
