Fleet Truck and Heavy Equipment Mechanic
Groundhog Landscaping in Derry, NH is seeking a full-time Fleet Truck and Heavy Equipment Mechanic to maintain and repair our various landscaping and construction equipment, ensuring minimal downtime and high-quality service for our customers.
Pay
$25.00 - $35.00/hour, depending on experience.
Schedule
Monday - Friday, 6:30 am - 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities
- Service, maintain, and repair fleet vehicles and equipment to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Minimize downtime by completing quality repairs within a reasonable timeframe
- Thoroughly inspect fleet vehicles and machinery to identify existing or potential problems
- Perform appropriate repairs and services on backhoes, excavators, dump trucks, medium-duty trucks, and other equipment
- Maintain accurate records of services performed and parts used
Requirements
- Proven experience as a mechanic specializing in fleet trucks and heavy equipment
- Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
- Provide tools suitable for heavy equipment maintenance and repair
- Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and with a team
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record
- Current DOT medical card or ability to obtain one
- Ability to travel within a 25-minute radius of Derry
- Welding experience preferred
- CDL is a bonus
- Must pass a background check and drug screening test
