Fleet Technician/Mechanic

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on light to medium duty fleet vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues
• Conduct inspections to ensure vehicles meet safety and compliance standards
• Accurately document repairs and complete work orders
• Maintain a clean and organized work area, including your tools and equipment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies
• Collaborate with supervisors and team members to support fleet operations

Requirements

• 5+ years’ of hands-on experience performing diesel and automotive vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to own and maintain the personal tools and toolbox required for the role
• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
• Willingness and ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including frequent movement such as standing, walking, climbing, bending, sitting for extended periods, lifting heavy objects, accessing tight or confined spaces, using hands to grasp, reach, handle, and operate tools and equipment, working at heights using ladders or elevated platforms, and safely performing duties in various weather conditions; must be able to see and hear sufficiently to safely navigate the workspace
• Must be eligible to pass standard pre-employment screenings, including drug screen and DOT physical (if required)

Pay

$40.00 - $48.00/hour (based on experience)

Tuesday - Saturday 6:00am - 2:30pm
