Fleet Technician

Ready to keep our fleet in top shape and on the road? At SIXT, we’re searching for a Fleet Technician to handle essential maintenance and repairs across our vehicle lineup. From oil changes to tire replacements and vehicle inspections, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our cars are ready for our customers. Your work is vital to maintaining smooth rental operations and maximizing vehicle availability.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic mechanical repairs, including oil changes, mounting and balancing tires, tire repair, and brake and part replacements.
• Complete pre‑delivery inspections on fleet vehicles as required by management.
• Achieve daily output goals and maintain a minimum efficiency of 100%.
• Use personal protective equipment (PPE) for every repair, always including safety glasses while in the automotive shops.
• Conduct daily clean‑up of the work area and maintain a clean work environment.

Requirements

• At least 2 years of experience as an automotive technician or graduation from a trade school.
• ASE certifications in Suspension & Steering (A4) and Brakes (A5), or willingness to obtain them within the first year of employment.
• Minimum age of 18, a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record, and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Availability to work 40 hours per week, including day or evening shifts, and openness to travel 5‑10% of the time.

Pay

Starting hourly rate of $23.50.

Schedule

40‑hour work week with day or evening shifts; travel required 5‑10% of the time.
