Fleet Tactical Manager (NJUS)
About the role
The Fleet Tactical Manager leads their team of Maintenance Controllers to manage and monitor the progress of maintenance on their respective assigned aircraft. They report to the Director of Maintenance and are responsible for coordinating with their assigned aircraft Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) and third-party maintenance suppliers to ensure the accomplishment of maintenance or alterations are completed in accordance with all FAA regulations, manufacturer guidelines, and company objectives.
Responsibilities
- Acts with full authority in the maintenance oversight of their assigned fleet.

Requirements
Education:
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
Certifications and Licenses:
- No specific certifications or licenses required.
Years of Experience:
- Four to six years’ experience working in an aircraft maintenance control environment.
- Two years leadership experience working in an aircraft maintenance control environment.
Core Competencies:
- Four to six years’ experience working in an aircraft maintenance control environment.
- Two years leadership experience working in an aircraft maintenance control environment.
- Knowledge & understanding of turbine powered aircraft systems.
- Personnel management experience.
- Working knowledge of MS Office applications.
- The ability to read, write, and understand the English language.
- Excellent written and oral communications skills.
