Fleet Supervisor - Overnight

Responsibilities

• Coaches and counsels drivers in areas of safety, performance, productivity and morale.
• Schedules and directs drivers' work.
• Distributes daily work assignments to drivers while coordinating loads, equipment and backhauls to maximize fleet utilization.
• Develops daily delivery plans using equipment, manpower and resources to ensure effective and efficient operations.
• Manages and resolves delivery and scheduling issues through communication with customers, drivers, vendors and other Ruan locations.
• Performs administrative tasks including payroll, billing, driver counseling and post-accident reviews.
• Reviews and analyzes operating performance.
• Uses Ruan transportation management systems to capture accurate operational data in near real-time.
• Maintains safety and compliance with company policies and regulations.
