Fleet Supervisor (Driver Supervisor) - Overnight

Responsibilities

• Coaches and counsels drivers in areas of safety, performance, productivity and morale.
• Schedules and distributes daily work to drivers, coordinating loads, equipment and backhauls to maximize fleet utilization.
• Develops daily delivery plans using equipment, manpower and resources to enhance operational effectiveness and efficiency.
• Plans and implements transportation solutions for assigned customers to optimize profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Communicates with customers, drivers, vendors and other Ruan locations to identify and resolve delivery and scheduling issues.
• Performs administrative tasks such as payroll, billing, driver counseling and post-accident reviews.
• Uses Ruan transportation management systems to accurately capture required operational data in near real-time.
• Maintains safety and compliance with company policies and regulations across all operational areas.
