Fleet Supervisor - CDL Required

Responsibilities

• Responsible to coach and counsel drivers in such areas as safety, performance, productivity and morale.
• Supervise all activities of drivers.
• Direct and schedule driver's work.
• Plan, assign, and distribute daily work to while coordinating loads, equipment and backhauls to achieve maximum utilization of the fleet.
• Manage work assignments.
• Develop daily delivery plan utilizing equipment, manpower and other resources to ensure an effective, efficient operation.
• Organize, plan and implement transportation solutions for assigned customers that utilize the best cost option to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Identify and resolve delivery and scheduling problems through timely communication with customers, drivers, vendors and other Ruan locations.
• Participate in the review and analysis of operating performance.
• Properly use the Ruan transportation management systems to ensure all required operational data is accurately captured in a near real-time manner.
• Monitor and promote safety and compliance with company policies and federal, state and local regulations in all areas of the operation.
