Fleet Store Admin Assistant
Description Summary
Position provides the first point of contact for all incoming calls to Shrader Tire & Oil (STO). Candidate must maintain a positive attitude, flexibility, and a willingness to “do whatever it takes” to ensure our customers’ experience is the best it can be. Candidate should possess ability to make clear and direct decisions that positively impact efficiency, and the customer experience.
Duties
- Provides first point of contact for all incoming calls to STO.
- Answers, transfers calls, or takes messages in a professional manner.
- Processes orders, prepares correspondence, and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Processes pricing, delivery information, and orders.
- Makes cockpit reports to ensure old orders, transfers, and PO’s are closed.
- Manages incoming and outgoing mail.
- Processes invoices, work orders, transfers, and national account paperwork for tire service.
- Maintains customer furnished forms, 3rd party billing.
- Receives inventory, creates purchase orders and transfers.
Position Requirements
- Knowledge of phone etiquette.
- Strong background with Microsoft office products, especially Microsoft excel, web-based applications, and electronic data storage.
- Prior experience in customer service environment, including order entry and customer interaction.
- Prior experience with inventory, physicals, audits, invoicing, pricing, and transfers would be beneficial.
- The highest degree of confidentiality is required for this position.
