Fleet Service Technician

Full-time position, 40 hours per week, benefits eligible.

About the Role

Ground Transport role within the Administration department at Navicent Health Medical Center. This position involves automotive and mechanical responsibilities, problem-solving, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Schedule

12-hour shifts on rotating days.

Pay

Pay range: $19.80 - $29.70 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Maintain automotive vehicles and mechanical systems.
• Perform problem-solving tasks related to vehicle operation and maintenance.
• Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Communicate orally and in writing, both in person and by phone.
• Lift up to 50 pounds as required.
• Adhere to hospital and department-specific policies, including Operation Excellence.
• Deliver compassionate and responsive services to physicians, patients, and colleagues.

Requirements

• Completion of High School or GED.
• Valid Georgia driver’s license with a driving record that meets hospital policy requirements.
• Automotive/mechanical knowledge and skills.
• Ability to see, hear, and orally communicate effectively.
• Manual dexterity for working on automotive vehicles.
• Must attend yearly driving training held by the EMS Educator.
• Must complete mandatory hospital and department-specific training.
