About the Role
Ground Transport role within the Administration department at Navicent Health Medical Center. This position involves automotive and mechanical responsibilities, problem-solving, and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
Schedule
12-hour shifts on rotating days.
Pay
Pay range: $19.80 - $29.70 per hour.
Responsibilities
- Maintain automotive vehicles and mechanical systems.
- Perform problem-solving tasks related to vehicle operation and maintenance.
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Communicate orally and in writing, both in person and by phone.
- Lift up to 50 pounds as required.
- Adhere to hospital and department-specific policies, including Operation Excellence.
- Deliver compassionate and responsive services to physicians, patients, and colleagues.
Requirements
- Completion of High School or GED.
- Valid Georgia driver’s license with a driving record that meets hospital policy requirements.
- Automotive/mechanical knowledge and skills.
- Ability to see, hear, and orally communicate effectively.
- Manual dexterity for working on automotive vehicles.
- Must attend yearly driving training held by the EMS Educator.
- Must complete mandatory hospital and department-specific training.
