About the role

AAA has a golden opportunity for an experienced Automotive Repair Technician to join our dynamic Fleet Repair Team in Cincinnati, OH. We offer an excellent benefits package to ensure your success.

Responsibilities

  • Accurate and timely repair and maintenance of Club Fleet owned vehicles and customer vehicles, including passenger vehicles and light and medium-duty trucks
  • Engine repair, gas and diesel, automatic transmission/transaxle diagnosis and repair, manual transmission/transaxle diagnosis and repair, suspension and steering diagnosis and repair, brakes diagnosis and repair, including ABS/traction control, electrical diagnosis and repair, heating and air conditioning diagnosis and repair, engine performance diagnosis and repair
  • Complete all paperwork, including repair information on work orders, information for state and emission inspections, etc., with accuracy
  • Verify repairs are properly completed by re-testing repaired systems to ensure proper function and road test vehicles, as necessary, to identify concerns or validate repairs
  • Maintain in-depth knowledge of specialized skills, and continue to develop additional technical skills, to enable flexibility in work assignments
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent, and 3+ years applicable experience as an Automotive Technician strongly preferred
  • National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in at least 2 categories or the equivalent
  • Manufacturer Certification and experience with the ability to attain the required certifications within 12 months of hire
  • Valid driver's license
  • Satisfactory pre-and post-employment screening results, including criminal, drug and motor vehicle screening and passing a physical examination required by the Department of Transportation
  • Proficient knowledge with PC-based automotive computer equipment and software applications
  • Ability to operate passenger vehicles and light- and medium-duty trucks with automatic and manual transmissions

  • High school graduate or equivalent
  • 3+ years applicable experience as an Automotive Technician
  • National Institute of Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) in at least 2 categories or the equivalent
  • Manufacturer Certification and experience with the ability to attain the required certifications within 12 months of hire
  • Valid driver's license

Pay

The base pay range shown is a guideline for compensation and ultimate salary offered will be based on factors such as applicant experience and geographic location.
