Fleet Rental Service Porter [AB03]

About the role

A Rental Service Porter is needed to assist with multiple duties in our busy shop, including supporting the rental department and parts counter with picking up and delivering parts, as well as other tasks around the shop and yard.

Responsibilities

• Check vehicles to ensure that mechanical, safety, and emergency equipment is in good working order; report any issues to the location manager
• Obtain receipts or signatures for delivered goods and collect payment for services when required
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, traffic violations, or damage to the vehicles
• Assist in entering data into the computer database
• Distribute licensing, fuel, and wash vehicles
• Ensure timely delivery of parts to our various customers
• Assist with checking in parts from our various vendors
• Stock parts in the correct location in our parts room and warehouse
• Perform fuel island inspections
• Assist with facility maintenance and sanitation
• Handle daily rentals check-in and check-out

Requirements

• Must have a valid driver’s license
• Forklift experience is a plus
• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Ability to work independently
• Customer service skills, organizational skills, computer skills, and a positive attitude are required
• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, and work at the specific location required

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM

Pay

$19 to $21 per hour, depending on skills and experience
