Fleet Sales Lot Porter

About the role

Ford of Greeley, a Ken Garff Automotive Dealership, is seeking a Sales Lot Technician (Porter) who embodies our core values of Respect, Integrity, Growth, Humility, and Teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Arrange cars on the lot and ensure the lot is neat and orderly
• Fuel cars and perform minor maintenance tasks such as changing windshield wipers, replenishing fluids, etc.
• Compare serial numbers of incoming cars against invoices
• Inspect vehicles to detect damage and verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoice, such as spare tires and radio and stereo equipment
• Record the description of damages and list missing items on the delivery receipt
• Assign stock control numbers to cards
• Catalog and store keys
• Deliver sold vehicles to the new-vehicle preparation department
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older and authorized to work in the U.S.
• A valid in-state driver's license with a good driving record, per company standards
• Positive attitude and high energy
• Ability to read and comprehend job-related instructions and information whether electronic or paper-based
• Physical requirements: standing 6-8 hours per day, exposure to noise, vibration, dust, exhaust fumes, and a variety of other hazardous and non-hazardous materials, mostly spent outdoors, and exposure to the elements
