- Operate and monitor company fleets to ensure on-time transportation and efficiency.
- Plan daily routes using pipelines and territory data to maximize productivity.
- Serve as a liaison between the fleet and the dispatch and sales teams to align capacity with demand.
- Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel consumption, and maintenance records.
- Monitor vehicle KPI metrics and report deviations to leadership.
- Coordinate with dispatch and sales teams to align capacity with demand.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and coordinate preventive maintenance.
- Adhere to contract terms and service-level agreements with clients.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements to drive efficiency gains.
- Provide clear, timely updates on progress and blockers to supervisors.
- Safely load and secure goods to prevent damage during transit.
- Demonstrate a growth mindset by pursuing training and professional development.
Experience/Qualifications
- Valid Virginia driver's license with clean driving record.
- Experience operating and routing multiple-vehicle fleets for on-time transportation.
- Strong knowledge of safety, regulatory, and company policies.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and coordinate preventive maintenance.
- Proficient route planning using pipelines and territory data.
- Maintain accurate trip logs, fuel and maintenance records.
- Monitor vehicle KPIs and report deviations to leadership.
- Cope with the demands of a performance-driven, highly monitored environment.
- Ability to work on-site in a performance-driven, highly monitored environment.
- Contract-based employment flexibility to support short-term mobility.
