About the role

We are seeking a Fleet Operations Coordinator to support one of the largest commercial fleet programs in North America. This position is ideal for candidates with experience in fleet management, vehicle rentals, transportation, logistics, operations, or customer service who enjoy building client relationships and ensuring operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day fleet operations for assigned vehicles.
  • Perform detailed pre-service and post-service vehicle inspections.
  • Cook up vehicle cleaning, detailing, and refueling activities.
  • Schedule preventive maintenance, repairs, and body work with third-party vendors.
  • Maintain accurate records of fleet activities and service history.
  • Build strong relationships with clients, vendors, drivers, and operational partners.
  • Provide ongoing customer support and recommendations to improve fleet performance.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure service expectations are met.
  • Support reporting, documentation, and administrative tasks using Microsoft Office applications.

Required Qualifications

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1-2 years of experience in fleet management, vehicle rental operations, transportation, logistics, or related operations.
  • Strong customer service and relationship management skills.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to stand, walk, and inspect vehicles for extended periods throughout the day.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Operations, Logistics, or a related field.
  • Experience managing commercial vehicle fleets.
  • Experience working in vehicle rental operations.
  • Client-facing account management or B2B customer support experience.
  • Experience with fleet management or rental software platforms.
  • Strong data entry and reporting capabilities.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $26.00/hr.
