Based in Fort Lauderdale, FL, our team is dedicated to ensuring airline pilots and flight attendants reach their destinations safely, efficiently, and on time. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Fleet & Operations Coordinator to be the communication hub of our 24/7 dispatch center, playing a vital role in maintaining our high standards of safety, service, and operational excellence.

Responsibilities

  • Cook up transportation assignments to ensure timely service delivery and compliance with operational standards.
  • Maintain real-time communication with drivers, airline crew members, station leadership, and the Operations Control Center (OCC) to support seamless operations.
  • Monitor vehicle activity using GPS, geofencing, and dispatch software to ensure efficient fleet utilization and service reliability.
  • Proactively adjust routes, schedules, and driver assignments in response to flight delays, cancellations, traffic conditions, weather events, and other operational changes.
  • Accurately document trip details, service disruptions, incidents, and operational updates in company systems.
  • Identify and escalate service issues, safety concerns, and operational risks to appropriate leadership in a timely manner.
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing operational feedback and contributing to process enhancements.

Requirements

  • A high school diploma or equivalent required; an associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Two (2) or more years of dispatch experience in transportation, logistics, or a related field preferred.
  • Four (4) or more years of customer service experience in a fast-paced, high-volume environment preferred.
  • Strong communication, multitasking, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency with GPS/tracking systems, dispatch software, and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to remain composed, make sound decisions, and adapt quickly in a fast-changing operational environment.
  • Bilingual English/Spanish skills are a plus.
