Fleet Mechanic II 2nd shift - Dayton
Position Description
Join Serco as a Fleet Mechanic II in Dayton, OH! Serco supports a large utility fleet operation diagnosing and repairing light, medium and heavy duty diesel trucks and other utility fleet equipment. Schedule will be full time 2nd shift Monday through Friday and the position is overtime eligible.
Qualifications
- Operate automotive & diesel vehicles and construction and material handling equipment.
- Diagnose and repair medium and heavy-duty trucks, as well as aerial equipment.
- Inspect, diagnose and repair bucket truck and digger derrick hydraulic systems.
- Perform engine, electrical and drivability diagnostics/repair.
- Perform DOT inspections and manufacturer suggested servicing.
- Diagnose and repair aftertreatment systems.
- Provide clear and accurate information when entering work order data into a fleet maintenance system.
- Be responsible for scheduling and prioritizing work derived from driver reports.
Additional Desired Experience and Skills
- Diesel vocational/technical school certifications.
