BASIC PURPOSE
To provide a safe and reliable fleet by performing preventative maintenance and proper repairs on all fleet equipment.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
- Complete all required repairs on diesel equipment (i.e., tractors, trailers, bobtails, lift gates, etc.).
- Take directions from and assist senior technicians with repairs.
- Utilize fleet maintenance system tablet to fully document equipment repair and parts used.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment in compliance with workplace safety rules/regulations and government guidelines.
- Willingness and capacity to assume increased responsibility and certifications.
Physical Qualifications
- Occasionally: Stand, Walk, Drive Vehicle, Sit, Lift 1-10 lbs, Carry 1-10 lbs, Push/Pull 1, Climb/Balance 2, Stoop/Squat, Kneel, Bend, Reach Above Shoulder, Twist, Grasp Objects 3, Manipulate Objects 4, Manual Dexterity 5.
Compensation and Benefits
- Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
- The expected base rate for this role is between $31.66 - $ 33.27 per hour.
- This role will also receive overtime compensation and shift differential.
