Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine preventive maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake inspections, and fluid services.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and drivability issues using diagnostic equipment and repair manuals.
- Repair and replace components such as brakes, suspension parts, steering components, batteries, belts, hoses, and lighting systems.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to ensure fleet safety and compliance with company standards.
- Maintain accurate service records, work orders, and maintenance logs.
- Test-drive vehicles to verify repairs and identify performance concerns.
- Aid with emergency roadside repairs when required.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of automotive or light-duty fleet maintenance experience.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to diagnose and repair gasoline-powered vehicles; diesel experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with diagnostic scan tools and computerized maintenance systems.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a shop environment.
