Bentley Truck Services, Inc. is seeking a Fleet Mechanic to join their team. Starting as a small 2 bay shop in Philadelphia, they now operate 10 state-of-the-art locations across the eastern seaboard, offering commercial truck sales, rentals, leasing, maintenance, parts, and service.

Responsibilities
- Input daily repair reports into software-based tracking program
- Use a wide variety of hand and power tools, cutting torches, and welding equipment
- Diagnose, service, and repair various systems found on heavy equipment such as mechanical and computer electronic controls, air brake systems, transmissions, computer controlled automatic and manual transmissions, and pneumatic systems
- Participate in the review of operational and mechanical safety-related issues associated with the fleet
- Perform routine preventative maintenance such as lubricating, oil changes, and failure analysis
- Perform routine brake inspections and adjustments on commercial vehicles following Federal DOT requirements
- Create work orders on repairs and services providing legible and accurate information for work performed
- Communicate with drivers and managers to ensure adherence to preventative vehicle maintenance policies and practices
- Order parts from approved vendors and drive the company pick-up/repair truck to pick up parts when needed
Qualifications
- Experience performing preventive maintenance services
- Valid driver's license: CDL Preferred (Will Train)
- High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
- Experience in diagnosing and repairing light, medium, and heavy-duty trucks (A Plus)
- Must be able to pass a pre-employment and random drug screening required by DOT
