Key Responsibilities
- Organize and prioritize work tickets as you see fit, ensuring the most critical issues are addressed promptly.
- Perform a broad spectrum of mechanical repairs including but not limited to diagnostics, wiring issues, valve and seal replacements and more.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance to prevent breakdowns and ensure fleet reliability.
- Aid drivers with pre-trip inspections (when needed) and address start-up issues, ensuring all vehicles are ready for safe operation.
- Utilize our maintenance software (E-Maint) to meticulously track all maintenance activities and vehicle service histories.
Requirements
- Proven experience in diesel and general vehicle maintenance.
- Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and requirements.
- Willingness to work outdoors and in various locations as needed.
Preferred
- Possession of a Class A CDL and own tools.
