About the role
Judge Direct Placement is seeking a Third Shift Mechanic/Fleet Mechanic in the Syracuse, NY area.
Responsibilities
- Flexible hours between 9 pm - 7 am
- General knowledge of diesel engine operating principles and associated components
- Mechanically inclined, capable of making diagnoses and performing repairs on tractors, trailers, and dollies
- Proficient in preventive maintenance services and able to identify and address potential issues
- Familiarity with 12V electrical systems and ability to perform basic repairs
- Basic computer literacy and welding skills
- A/C certification and New York State Inspection certification preferred
- Own tools adequate for the tasks to be performed
