Fleet Maintenance Technician - McCalla

About the role

The Fleet Maintenance Technician at Publix Super Markets is responsible for maintaining and repairing all types of vehicles used in the company's fleet.

Responsibilities

• Oversee routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake checks.
• Perform repairs on vehicles as needed, using specialized tools and equipment.
• Ensure all vehicles meet safety standards and comply with regulatory requirements.
• Communicate with drivers and supervisors regarding vehicle issues and maintenance needs.
• Keep detailed records of all maintenance activities and submit reports as required.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• At least 2 years of experience in automotive repair or related field.
• Knowledge of automotive systems and components.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
