Fleet Maintenance Technician

About the role

Mechanic responsible for maintaining and repairing a fleet of transport trucks and trailers, primarily in oil and gas operations.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and maintain trailers in compliance with DOT requirements.
• Perform preventative and corrective maintenance, including tire changes, oil/filter changes, brake, electrical, and hydraulic system repairs.
• Coordinate emergency repairs and outside repairs, including certifications and inspections.
• Maintain maintenance documentation and manage shop supplies.
• Troubleshoot and repair crude oil transport trucks and semi-trailers.

Qualifications & Skills

• Professional mechanic or technician experience with diesel engines and semi-trailers preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently within a team.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, excellent communication skills, and a valid driver’s license.
• High School Diploma or GED required.

Key Duties

• Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance of fleet equipment.
