About the role
Are you a diesel pro who loves variety and challenge? Join our team and work on an exciting mix of heavy equipment—from massive excavators to precision forklifts, road-ready trucks to specialized trailers.
This role operates in a high-heat, dusty, and noisy manufacturing setting. Must be comfortable working in an industrial environment. Expect to perform physically demanding tasks (bending, climbing, pushing, etc.), repetitive movements, and lifting from 50-75 lbs. PPE provided.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel engines, trailers, and heavy equipment
- Troubleshoot fuel, brake, transmission, hydraulic, suspension, exhaust, and electrical systems
- Use diagnostic software and tools, including Davie 4, to identify and resolve issues
- Perform preventive maintenance to maximize equipment uptime and reliability
- Test equipment after repairs to ensure safe operation and performance
- Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records in compliance with DOT and company standards
- Follow all OSHA and DOT safety requirements
Requirements
- 3+ years of diesel mechanic experience, preferably with trailers and mixed heavy equipment
- Experience working on trucks, trailers, excavators, forklifts, loaders, and similar equipment
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems
- Experience with Davie 4 diagnostic software
- Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
Qualifications
- Foundation Brake Certification (required)
- Cummins Certification (preferred)
- CDL license preferred but not required

Pay
$35.00-$55.00 plus an hour based on experience
