Comprised of three full-service Fixed Based Operators (FBOs) along Colorado's Front Range, we prioritize safety, service, and security while offering flight services for business, general, commercial, and military aircraft operations. Our award-winning professional service and amenities fully accommodate customers and their aircraft across our preferred FBO network, with locations in Colorado Springs, Denver, and Fort Collins-Loveland, CO.

We are seeking a full-time Ground Service Equipment (GSE) Mechanic at our Fort Collins-Loveland (FNL) location.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a variety of gasoline, diesel, and electric-powered equipment.
  • Repair and maintain specialized aviation fuel pumping systems utilizing electronic, hydraulic, and unique air brake systems.
  • Identify sources of mechanical failure and repair as necessary.
  • Skillfully communicate with vendors for scheduling parts and services.
  • Complete routine service on vehicles and ground service equipment.
  • Accurately complete maintenance logs and documentation utilizing software systems.
  • Test and operate company vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
  • Follow all internal safety procedures including LOTO and PPE requirements.
  • Maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Perform quality fuel inspections on mobile refuelers according to ATA 103 requirements.
  • Troubleshoot and repair a variety of low-voltage electrical systems.
  • Maintain hangar cleanliness and organization.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Age 21 or older.
  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid Driver’s license, good driving record, and reliable transportation.
  • 1-2 years prior GSE experience.
  • Strong mechanical skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both in written and oral form.
  • Must be a team player, quick learner, and able to multi-task.
  • Problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to know when to escalate.
  • Able to work in inclement weather conditions and high-noise aircraft environments.
  • Must pass pre-employment drug screen, criminal background check, motor records check, and non-DOT physical post-offer; certain positions may require a credit check.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior FBO/Aviation experience.
  • Hydraulic, 12/24v electrical, and air systems experience.
  • Experience with ATA 103 and NFPA 407 Regulations.
  • Experience using maintenance tracking software.
  • Familiarity with equipment diagnostic software and Microsoft Office programs.

Tools & Equipment

Must be able to provide your own toolbox, which should include standard hand tools and diagnostic equipment. Specialty tools requiring calibration are provided by the company.

  • Must possess sufficient mobility, strength, or dexterity in both arms, hands, and legs to work with files and operate office equipment (computers, fax machines, copiers).
  • Must be able to:
    • Read and understand instructions, drawings, safety guides, and other written materials necessary to perform the job.
    • Visually perform applicable functions without assistance beyond eye contacts or glasses.
    • Hear and understand instructions, warning bells, fire alarms, or shouted instructions without auditory aids beyond a hearing aid.
    • Impart information orally so others understand and can respond appropriately.

Pay

Salary Range: $25–35 per hour, depending on experience.
