Airport Operations Overview

About the Role

The Fleet and Facilities Business Partner role is responsible for managing vehicles, equipment, and facilities within the assigned dnata Australia business stream in Mascot (Sydney).

Responsibilities

  • Optimal delivery of facilities, workplace services, and fleet operations with internal and external service providers, ensuring WHS requirements are met.
  • Partner with Directors and teams responsible for providing workplace services in agile and non-agile environments, focusing on maintenance and compliance.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholder groups to ensure alignment with contractual agreements as requested by the company.
  • Ensure all fleet registrations are current and up-to-date across allocated dnata Australia business streams.
  • Drive continuous improvement and innovation, identifying and implementing strategies to ensure property, facilities, and fleet outcomes are stakeholder-focused and meet current and future requirements.
  • Develop, monitor, and report on budgets, costing, and allocations, identify value for money projects and services, and support executive-level decision-making.
  • Liaise with building and maintenance contractors regarding building issues and with internal staff regarding unscheduled requirements or changes to maintain a safe, clean work environment.
  • Provide quality metrics and reporting on critical business issues, including developing and reviewing variations to relevant client services.
  • Update senior management regarding business issues, demands, and operational requirements, ensuring subsequent decisions are implemented.
  • Ensure compliance with OH & S Regulations, Company OH & S Policies, and Environmental Protection to ensure safety of other employees; take corrective action where required.

  • Well-developed communication skills in written, oral, and negotiation.
  • Strong working relationships built with all staff and clientele.
  • Commitment to dnata Values and operating procedures.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience and ability to drive a customer and safety focus culture within the team.
  • Previous experience in a highly controlled and regulated industry with the ability to lead, translate, implement, and manage ongoing compliance, industry standards, and legislative requirements into standard operations.
  • Understanding of financial and budget processes and ability to drive culture change and business improvement initiatives.
  • Adherence to all company safety, policy, procedure, and process.
  • Ability to work within a team, sharing information and providing support to ensure coordinated approaches to customer requirements during aircraft operations.
  • Proactive self-starter, able to manage multiple issues and resolve them effectively.
  • Ability to follow instructions as directed by management.
  • Willingness to travel to any dnata Airports as required.
