Fleet Associate
About the Role
As a Fleet Operations Associate, you will work throughout the city as part of our Fleet Operations Team to ensure cars are clean, maintained, and transported to where they need to be for our Zipcar members. You’ll travel by foot, bike, public transit, or use a Zipcar to ensure our vehicles are ‘member-ready’—this might include changing a tire, filling the gas tank, cleaning, or coordinating a tow or repair.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the front line of the team to ensure member satisfaction.
- Perform tasks such as changing tires, filling gas tanks, cleaning vehicles, and coordinating tows or repairs.
- Provide vehicle status updates to the operations team.
- Work outdoors in varying weather and conditions.
- Carry tools and marketing materials (up to 50 lbs).
Requirements
- Strong time management skills to juggle multiple priorities and tasks.
- Excellent communication with the operations team.
- Flexibility to work 40-hour weeks, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Valid Driver’s License and an acceptable driving record (per company standards).
