About the role

The Fleet Account Representative acts as the primary MHC contact for assigned fleet(s), ensuring the fleet’s needs are met by interacting with key personnel at the customer and within the dealership. This position requires a broad knowledge of the Company’s services, products, and marketing techniques.

This is a safety-sensitive position. Any person performing the role while under the influence of marijuana or any other illegal drug may constitute a threat to health or safety. The role may involve operating, repairing, maintaining, or monitoring heavy equipment, machinery, motor vehicles, or handling hazardous materials.

Responsibilities

  • Call on assigned accounts and maintain open communication with customers regarding their requirements.
  • Assist the Sales Manager/Branch Manager with fleet truck specifications, pre-bills, change orders, and new truck paperwork.
  • Stay updated on fleet specifications and options.
  • Coordinate new truck delivery, trade receipt processes, and equipment flow through Service and Body.
  • Provide information and resolve parts, warranty, or service issues for fleets, whether at home or on the road.
  • Make all company services available to customers and refer complaints or opportunities to the appropriate department managers.
  • Keep informed on new products and general information to assist in sales efforts or improve service levels.
  • Maintain records and reports on all phases of activities.
  • Assist outside parts and service sales personnel to achieve full market penetration.
  • Keep all departments informed on customer needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Broad knowledge of the Company’s services, products, and marketing techniques.
  • Product knowledge and prospector knowledge (preferred).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • High energy level and positive attitude.
  • CDL required.
