Flatiron Research Fellow, Center for Computational Astrophysics
About the role
The Flatiron Research Fellow (FRF) position at the Center for Computational Astrophysics (CCA) offers the opportunity for independent research in areas with strong synergy with the CCA or other centers at the Flatiron Institute. The Flatiron Institute advances scientific knowledge through computational methods, including data analysis, theory, modeling, and simulation, and houses five centers (CCA, CCB, CCM, CCN, CCQ) plus a scientific computing core (SCC) and an initiative in computational catalysis (ICC). CCA staff frequently collaborate with members of these centers, and joint FRF appointments can be considered. The CCA’s specific mission is to create, develop, and disseminate computational methods, tools, and frameworks that enable scientists to build
