Flatbed Driver (CDL Required)

About the role
We are seeking an experienced Flatbed Driver to safely transport and deliver skid-mounted tanks, equipment, and related materials to customer locations throughout the DFW area and surrounding markets. This is a full-time, local position with home-daily routes and no overnight travel. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, safety-focused, and comfortable working independently while providing professional service to our customers.
Responsibilities
- Safely transport and deliver skid-mounted tanks, equipment, and related materials to customer locations.
- Properly load, secure, transport, and unload equipment and materials in accordance with Company procedures, DOT requirements, and safety regulations.
- Perform pre-trip, post-trip, and routine vehicle inspections; report safety concerns, damage, defects, or maintenance needs immediately.
- Maintain accurate driver logs, inspection records, delivery documentation, and other required DOT and Company records.
- Follow all DOT regulations, including hours of service, safe driving, vehicle inspections, cargo securement, and vehicle maintenance.
- Safely operate assigned Company equipment and maintain vehicle cleanliness and general condition.
- Inspect loads and cargo securement throughout transport to ensure safety.
- Coordinate with dispatch, operations, and team members regarding deliveries, scheduling, customer needs, and service issues.
- Maintain professional and courteous communication with customers while completing deliveries.
- Follow all Company safety policies and procedures; prioritize safe driving and accident prevention.
- Assist with equipment-related tasks as needed based on operational and business needs.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement required.
- Tanker endorsement preferred.
- Flatbed driving experience required; commercial driving experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cargo securement and safe flatbed operating practices.
- Working knowledge of DOT regulations governing commercial driving, hours of service, vehicle inspections, and maintenance.
- Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to identify basic equipment or vehicle concerns.
- Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) and ability to meet Company driving requirements.
- Ability to safely operate assigned equipment and perform physical requirements associated with securing and delivering loads.
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, dispatch, management, and team members.
- Dependable, safety-focused, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must meet all applicable DOT qualification requirements.
- Must successfully complete pre-employment screening, including drug/alcohol testing, DOT physical, and background screening.

Pay
Earning potential up to $100,000 annually based on experience, overtime hours, and travel.
Schedule
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday.
- Home daily with no overnight routes.
- Overtime as needed; weekend availability may be required based on business and customer needs.
- Year-round work.
