Fixed Income Senior Associate

What You’ll Do

• Executes fixed income trades efficiently while minimizing market impact and transaction costs.
• Safeguards trade orders for fairness and equity, ensuring prompt execution without favoritism towards the originating source.
• Collaborates with advisors and internal stakeholders on idea generation and strategy implementation.
• Shares relevant market information and updates impacting securities prices with portfolio managers and others.
• Maintains accurate and timely settlement of all trades according to established procedures and controls.
• Stays active in maintaining relationships with street counterparties to support effective fixed income trading and liquidity management.
• Responds promptly and professionally to client, portfolio management, and internal partner inquiries.
• Promotes continuous learning about applicable rules, regulations, and industry best practices governing investments and trading.
• Adheres to established trading procedures, risk controls, and governance protocols.
• Enhances knowledge of markets, products, and trading tools to support effective execution and decision-making.

What You’ll Bring

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• Active FINRA Series 7 & 6.
• 3+ years' experience in brokerage/financial services industry.
• Strong fixed income knowledge in Municipals, Corporates, Agencies, Treasuries, MBS, and CDs.
• Extensive experience in the brokerage/financial services industry, including custodians (Pershing, Schwab, Fidelity).
• Experience with using vendor applications and market data services (Bloomberg, Factset, Excel API).
