Fixed Income Operations Manager

A leading quantitative trading firm is seeking a Fixed Income Operations Manager to join its growing team in the Philadelphia area. Responsibilities

• Support the fixed income trading desk throughout the full trade lifecycle, from execution through settlement
• Oversee trade capture, confirmation, settlement, and reconciliation activities across multiple fixed income products
• Perform daily P&L reporting and assist with position and cash reconciliations
• Investigate and resolve trade breaks, settlement issues, and discrepancies in partnership with trading, risk, finance, and operational teams
• Monitor operational workflows and ensure accuracy, efficiency, and timely execution of critical processes
• Develop, maintain, and enhance automation initiatives using Python, SQL, VBA, or similar tools
• Identify opportunities to streamline workflows, reduce operational risk, and improve scalability
• Assist with regulatory reporting, internal controls, and audit requirements
• Participate in strategic projects, system implementations, and process enhancement initiatives

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience within fixed income operations, middle office, trade support, or investment operations
• Strong understanding of fixed income products, market conventions, and trade lifecycle processes
• Experience supporting front-office trading teams in a fast-paced environment
• Proficiency with Python, SQL, VBA, or other automation tools
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and reconciliation skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to interact with stakeholders across trading, risk, finance, and technology
