About the role

We are seeking a Fixed Income Investment Product Manager to join our team. This role involves developing and managing Capital Group Fixed Income products and services, working cross-functionally with various departments, and contributing to thought leadership initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Work cross-functionally with internal partners including sales, marketing, operations, legal, and investment professionals to address product questions, educate business partners on our offering, and resolve client issues.
  • Participate in projects impacting the product line and client group, ensuring products and services are competitive and meet the long-term strategic direction of the client group.
  • Create, analyze, and develop product roadmaps, business cases, and initiatives for our suite of credit strategies.
  • Build and refine product materials that best position us to engage with prospects and clients.
  • Engage regularly with Asset Class Services and the Investment Group to continuously refine product positioning exhibits, marketing collateral, and embedded capital markets content in pitchbooks.
  • Contribute to thought leadership initiatives.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in fixed income investment-related roles.
  • Strong understanding of fixed income credit and capital markets.
  • Experience with private markets strategies, vehicles, or client needs is a plus.
  • Experience using AI-enabled tools, such as Microsoft Copilot or similar platforms is a plus.
  • Holds Series 7 and 63, or equivalent, licenses, and/or is willing to earn these licenses at the outset of the role.
  • CFA, or interest in pursuing CFA, a plus.

  • Show effective written and oral communication skills with a diverse group of associates from peers to senior leaders.
  • Enjoy being analytical and synthesizing quantitative and qualitative inputs to identify trends that will contribute to decision making for the products we support.

Pay

Southern California Base Salary Range: $179,273 - $286,837

Schedule

Full-time position.
