Fixed Asset Accountant
Position Summary
As an Accountant you will learn about Life Time's end to end accounting close process for the business you support. You will perform critical accounting functions including the monthly/quarterly/annual close process, perform journal entries including accounting accruals, perform necessary analysis, and preparing account reconciliations and investigating variances. You will use your skills as an Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting to help business partners to make informed decisions. You will be responsible for ensuring compliance with any relevant SOX processes related to your role.
Job Duties And Responsibilities
- Performs critical monthly/quarterly/annual close tasks
- Performs account reconciliations
- Researches and corrects account discrepancies
- Provides monthly reporting
- Responds to ad-hoc requests
- Supports ongoing projects and initiatives
Position Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related field
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Knowledge of general ledger accounting
- Ability to effectively manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Familiar with Microsoft Office products
- Critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Team oriented
Pay
This is a salaried position starting at $54,000.00(or applicable minimum salary, if higher) and pays up to $72,000.00, based on experience and qualifications.
