Fitting Specialist - Golf (Contractor) - Northern CA

About the Role

This role supports the COBRA PUMA GOLF brand as a part-time contractor, focusing on the Northern CA/Bay Area Territories. The Fitting Specialist will set up and conduct fitting days in the field, maintain fitting tools, organize orders, keep accurate fitting records, and serve as the point of contact for account requests related to fitting days and follow-ups.

Responsibilities

• Conduct one-on-one fittings with consumers.
• Participate in large-scale brand events, staff, and VIP golf club fittings.
• Set up and break down fitting days, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Maintain and organize fitting tools and equipment.
• Coordinate orders from fitting days to be placed by the account or local Territory Sales Manager.
• Keep accurate records of fittings and follow up as needed.
• Work with the local Territory Sales Manager to maintain strong relationships with accounts.
• Conduct 40-50 events in a calendar year, with flexibility to work weekends as needed.

Requirements

• High school diploma (college degree preferred).
• Experience with launch monitors (Trackman, Foresight, or FlightScope) and golf club fitting.
• Understanding of basic and intermediate fitting terminology.
• Knowledge of golf ball flight data characteristics (speed, launch, spin).
• High level of energy, initiative, and professionalism.
• Ability to set up and break down a fitting day, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to adapt to business needs and willingness to work weekends.

Pay

Base pay of $175 per fitting day, plus commission.
