Ringway Infrastructure Services Ltd is seeking a skilled and motivated HGV Mechanic to join our workshop team. Working on a diverse fleet of commercial vehicles and specialist equipment, you will be responsible for carrying out inspections, servicing, maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure vehicles remain safe, compliant, and operational. Desirable Skills HGV Class 1 (C+E) or Class 2 (C) licence. IRTEC Heavy Vehicle Inspection Technician accreditation. Experience maintaining specialist highway maintenance vehicles and plant. MOT preparation and testing experience. Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and air braking systems. Experience using manufacturer diagnostic software and electronic testing equipment. Welding and fabrication skills. Experience mentoring apprentices or junior technicians. Familiarity with fleet maintenance software and digital job cards. Mot tester qualification Specialist Skills Advanced diagnostics and fault finding. DVSA compliance and annual test preparation. Hydraulic and pneumatic system experience. IRTEC qualification. Experience with specialist highway maintenance vehicles. Welding and fabrication skills. General Competencies safety-focused with a commitment to maintaining high workplace standards. Strong diagnostic, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent attention to detail and pride in delivering quality workmanship.
