Fitness Trainer

About the role

Responsibilities

• Design individual exercise programs for members based on their experience, medical history, and personal goals.
• Implement safe, effective, and appropriate exercise programs for members with or without medical clearance.
• Provide superior customer service to members, prospective members, and guests, ensuring an exceptional "Judgment Free" experience.

Qualifications

• Continual standing and walking during shifts.
• Continuous communication with members and potential members in person and on the phone.
• Must be able to lift 45+ pounds.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Nationally recognized certifications such as NASM, ACSM, ACE, NCSF, NSCA, ISSA, or WITS (discounts and reimbursement available).
• Punctuality and reliability are essential.
• A passion for fitness and health.
• Strong listening and problem-solving skills.
• Demonstrate diplomatic behavior and appropriate language in all interactions.

Schedule

Our unique membership base allows for a set work schedule with weekends off.

Pay

This position has a $1/hour premium added to any hours worked between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. Reimbursement for nationally recognized training certificates up to $300 is available if the candidate does not have a certification upon hire.
