Fitness Trainer

Responsibilities

• Create a class schedule for members, including orientation and developing their own programs.
• Engage with members on the club floor to help achieve their fitness goals, offer guidance on equipment usage, and provide support.
• Promote the Judgement Free Zone by interacting with members and enforcing club policies.
• Perform a comprehensive walk-through of fitness areas to ensure a great member experience.
• Conduct prospective member calls and tours, assess their needs, and offer trainer services.
• Greet members/guests as they enter and exit the club, assist with any questions or concerns, and answer phones.
• Clean and sanitize exercise equipment and Black Card spa amenities, as well as communal spaces and assigned areas.
• Maintain restrooms by following the cleaning schedule.

Requirements

• 6-12 months of experience in a customer service environment is preferred.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Willing to become CPR/AED certified (training provided by Planet Fitness).
• Nationally Certified Training Certificate required.
• Basic computer proficiency.

Qualifications

• Physical demands include continual standing, moving, communicating, lifting up to 75 pounds, and frequent cleaning and sanitizing.
• Must be able to bend, twist, and move in different positions.
