Fitness Coach - River Oaks

Ability to Earn Up to $55/Class + An Hourly Rate!

Leading and Motivating Members

• Leading and motivating members through pre-defined workouts
• Helping members set and achieve goals
• Making sure members are using correct form and offering corrections

Understanding the Science Behind Our Workouts

• Understanding the science behind our workouts specifically, heart-rate-focused training programs in general, and being aware of what the competition is doing
• Knowing how to use and demonstrate usage for every piece of equipment utilized in every workout

Additional Responsibilities

• Being a team player

Requirements

• AED/CPR certified – required
• At least 1 year of experience as a personal trainer or group fitness instructor
• Hold and maintain a current fitness certification from an education company approved by Orangetheory Fitness, such as:
• National Strength & Conditioning Association (NSCA)
• American Council on Exercise (ACE)
• American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM)
• Aerobics & Fitness Association of America (AFAA)
• National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM)
• National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF)
• International Sports Sciences Association (ISSA- special provisions apply)

Job Type

Variable Hour Employee – Part-time & Full-time hours available

Hours per Week

20-40, 25 or more preferred

Compensation

• You will be paid an hourly rate of $10.00 for administrative time including, not limited to meetings, continuing education, and community outreach events.
• For classes coached, you will be paid based on OTF tenure and class attendance between $25 to $55 per class.
