Job Description

The Fitness Center Representative’s (FCR) primary job duty is to supervise the Fitness Center (FC) and address and respond to any irregularities or accidents which occur on a regular basis due to the high‑risk equipment and exercise procedures inside the FC. The FCR supervises all activities inside the Fitness Center.

Responsibilities

• Front Desk – answer phones and questions, process memberships, sell towels and drinks, keep a clean and tidy workspace, create an inviting environment for all patrons, report any irregularities.
• Fitness Center – disinfect all areas, sweep and mop floors, dust and wipe down spider webs and debris around machines, rack and organize weights and other equipment, clean mirrors, refill cleaning spray bottles and towels (laundry).
• Restroom – clean floor, empty trash, restock toilet paper and paper towels, clean sink, faucet, and toilets.
• Perform all other tasks as assigned by the supervisor.

Required Skills

• Must be CPR/First Aid certified (must show current card).
• Must be currently enrolled as a student at La Sierra University.
