FitCity Member Services & Child Watch Specialist

About the role

This is a dynamic part-time position where you'll help facilitate the FitCity Recreation Center's daily operations and provide exceptional service to our members and guests.

Responsibilities

• Handle front desk operations, memberships, passes, general admittance, and facility opening/closing procedures.
• Answer questions about programs, services, costs, and policies; check out sports equipment; and resolve patron concerns to ensure a safe, high-quality experience.
• Provide a safe and fun environment for children in the Child Watch area.
• Accurately handle cash, perform transactions, program registration, and product inventory.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Six months of customer service experience is preferred.
• Must possess (or be able to obtain within 3 months of hire) a Red Cross CPR Certification and a food handler's permit.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Personable attitude, sound judgment, and a willingness to learn.
• Must be able to perform the physical demands of the job, including lifting up to 50 pounds.

Pay

Start between $11.00 and $13.50 per hour (Pay Grade PT2). Spanish proficiency is highly desired and may qualify for additional bilingual pay.
