Emergency hire positions with the CSKT Tribal Personnel Office for the Fisheries Program.
About the role
Primary task of filleting fish and secondary task of general fisheries work. Work will begin Friday, September 11th and continue until November 8th at the Blue Bay fisheries facility.
Schedule
Variable shifts up to 40 hours per week, depending on weather. Shifts are Friday–Sunday and will be arranged in advance with the supervisor.
Pay
$16.50 per hour.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license
- Able to lift 50 lbs
- Dependable means of transportation to and from Blue Bay
Experience in fish-species identification, filleting, or food preparation is helpful but not required; training will be provided.
Responsibilities
- Assist in collection and counting of fish at Blue Bay and other sites
- Record numbers and lengths of fish
- Fillet, bag, and store fish
- Repair research nets
- Clean boats and boathouse
- Deliver processed fish
- Assist with netting fish on Flathead Lake
- Other related duties as assigned
