About the role

Part-time, event-based position in partnership with Fiserv Forum, Milwaukee Bucks, and Marquette Eagles. This is a union position paying $23.00/hour.

Responsibilities

• Completes steps of service to ensure utmost guest satisfaction
• Understands and describes menu offerings, packaging/presentation, and pricing
• Responds to guest needs and requests while exceeding expectations
• Adheres to location appearance guidelines and acts with a sense of urgency
• Maintains service areas and employs good safety and sanitation practices
• Follows responsible alcohol service policies
• Thoroughly completes all station set-up and breakdown responsibilities
• Communicates guest issues to management
• Displays a positive attitude toward teammates and managers
• Assists fellow team members and is always on time for required duties

Requirements

• 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred
• Lifts and transports up to 40 lbs.
• Frequently reaches, lifts, stoops, bends, and cleans to maintain service area
• Walks and stands during entire shift
• Must be of legal age to serve alcohol and possess any required certifications
• Able to communicate effectively in English with managers, guests, and teammates
• Possible job hazards include slips, trips, falls, burns, cuts, and strains

Skills & Qualifications

• Previous catering service experience
• Ability to read and understand BEOs (Banquet Event Orders)
• Understanding of how to set up buffet lines
• Strong communication skills with guests, teammates, and management
• ServSafe certified
