What do you need to have?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Accounting or Finance or a similar field or a minimum of three (3) years related experience involving finance or procurement.
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office (Work, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Must have a valid Driver’s License and automobile insurance coverage.

What you will be doing?

  • Facilitate the contract administration process from beginning to end, ensuring contracts are accurately tracked, maintained, and administered throughout their lifecycle.
  • Maintain contract files, ledgers, and supporting documentation; update contract records; manage the contracts process in the County INFOR system; and serve as a point of contact for vendors and internal stakeholders to facilitate timely progression of contracts and related activities.
  • Develop a thorough understanding of assigned contracts to assist with monitoring compliance with contractual terms and conditions, including invoicing, deliverables, insurance requirements, reporting obligations, and performance milestones.
  • Identify and communicate potential compliance concerns, contract issues, or performance deficiencies to management and assist in resolving contract-related matters.
  • Support the agency’s procurement activities by conducting both informal bids and formal competitive bidding. Responsibilities include but are not limited to drafting and updating bid specifications, preparing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Request for Bids (RFBs); obtaining competitive quotes; evaluating vendor responses; preparing procurement recommendations; processing purchase orders; and maintaining procurement records in accordance with applicable laws, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide support with other procurement and contract administration duties as assigned.
